The Who rocked the 2010 Superbowl Halftime. For those watching old enough to remember how great the Who are live, the band put on an entertaining show with a medley of “Pinball Wizard”, “Baba O’Riley,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,”and “Who Are You”.
Following the opening acts of Queen Latifah performing ‘America the Beautiful’ and Carrie Underwood’s rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ the entertainment paled in comparison to the excitement of the game.

The Who was a great idea; unfortunately Pete was having guitar problems and there was no band cohesiveness. The medley was hackneyed and under-rehearsed. I don’t own real estate on E Street, but the Boss put on an energetic and fun show last year. Tops has to be Prince 2 years ago. From the Great Phallic Shadow entrance to singing Purple Rain in the rain, an amazing intermission. But The Who definitely rocked harder than Old Granny Petty 3 years back. His boring howling was enough to induce a digestive malfunction.
